सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने 25 जुलाई को फिल्म 'उदयपुर फाइल्स: कन्हैया लाल टेलर मर्डर' पर लगी रोक को बढ़ाने से इनकार कर दिया और मामला वापस दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट भेज दिया। फिल्म निर्माता अमित जानी ने कहा, "सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने वही कहा है जिसकी उम्मीद थी और जो उचित था... हम इस फैसले का स्वागत करते हैं।" फिल्म निर्देशक भरत श्रीनेत ने कहा, "हम चाहते थे कि फिल्म 11 जुलाई को सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज़ हो... अब हमें थोड़ी राहत मिल रही है कि हम इसे 8 अगस्त को रिलीज़ कर पाएँगे। सत्य की हमेशा जीत होती है, और सत्य हमेशा ऊँचा रहता है। वहीं कन्हैया लाल के बेटे ने भी अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है. <br /> <br />((On July 25, the Supreme Court refused to extend the ban on the film 'Udaipur Files: Kanhaiya Lal Taylor Murdr' and sent the case back to <br />the Delhi High Court.
